The project will support and sustain the growing of diverse traditional vegetables and fruits that support the food needs of international students, especially those of African background, at the University of Alberta.

 

The gardening space will create opportunities for social connection, gardening skills enhancement, and sharing of knowledge on alternative food items in the Canadian food system similar to their traditional foods.
